how do i remove the old microsoft office without the cd?

I've installed microsoft office small business 2007, however, outlook won't
install because I still have outlook express on my computer. outlook doesn't
show in add/remove programs and I don't know how else to delete it (I don't
have the original installation CD).

Outlook is a completely different app to Outlook Express.
Having OE doesnt preclude from installing OL
OE is not part of Office, it is part of your operating system / Internet

Perhaps you have a trial version of Office on your PC, that you failed to
remove?
Did you get any error msgs when you first installed Office?
What entries are listed in Add/Remove for Microsoft Office?
