How do I remove the Miicrosoft Data collection tool activex contro

Hello all..

I have a problem with a failing windows update (November 2005 malicious
software removal tool), and to get the information to microsoft tech support,
i installed the above activex control. Now that I have done that, want to
remove this active x control from my system. According to MS knowloedge base,
I should eb able to find this in windows/downloaded programs folder in
explorer in order to remove it. However, it does not show up in there. Can
someone please tell me how do I find this and remove it?
I am using WinXP Professional SP2

Open IE. Look in Tools | Internet Options | Programs | Manage Add-ons
