How do I remove a program....

How do I remove a program that can not be removed for the add/remove program
screen? Part of the program was removed and it still shows up in the
add/remove program page. I am trying to install a newer version of the
program but it won't allow me to do this until I remove the old program. Any
help would be greatly appreciated.

Contact the manufacturer/vendor of this un-named software for instructions.

Thanks....yeah did that, but they have not replied.

I went ahead and took a chance. Booted in safe mode. Deleted the entry
from the registry. Then I was able to delete the rest of the program since
the registry wasn't loading it anymore and was able to reinstall the program.


All good now.
