how do I remove a filter on my inbox

I have a filter applied message in the top right hand corner of my inbox and
deleted items reading pane........How do I remove this filter. It
continiously applies this filter to my inbox and removes unread mail, places
them in my deleted items,shows unread mail in deleted items but I cannot view
these unread mail

right click on the toolbar and choose Advanced toolbar - change the view
from the view selector. If it's the message view that has a filter, reset
it.
