I have Microsoft Outlook on my PC and laptop. In my briefcase on the laptop I
have copied the Outlook folder from the PC. I now want to read the emails
from the PC on the laptop.

Thanks for you reply.
No not the Program files one. The outlook folder I refer to is in My
Documents it contains two files, mail.pab and outlook.pst. The pst file is
where my PC emails are stored.

What Outlook folder? The Program Files one? That is not the folder you need.
You'll need a single pst-file.

You can connect to the pst-file by File-> Open-> Outlook Data File...
Do you have a special reason to use a pab-file? Pab support is only for
backward compatibility. You really should consider importing these into your
Contacts folder.
