how do I put video from Movie Maker to DVD

Advise says I obviously need to buy a firewire cable and download to Movie
maker. Fine but how do then put the films onto DVD? I have Nero, but it
didn't recognise the files i downloaded with my USB connection with
Imagemaker that came with my JVC digital camera!
Anyone out there know the answer please?

It appears that you can't burn to a DVD out of movie maker. I have been all
over MS site and can't find the answer.

Did you get any replies that helped?

I am having a problem with getting my movie to DVD too.
I have downloaded to moviemaker my disney trip from my digital video
recorder but when i click on send to cd it gets to 58% and stops? I select
the option to recommended copy?
I am new to this and am very stuck and cannot find any help at all.
Peterb if you find anything out could you let me know as i'm now at an end
with it.

Having got advice from two reliable sources the answer is get a DV/firewire
cable that goes from the side of the JVC camera into a firewire port on your
computer - very cheap and easy to fit! Then you can use Microsoft Mobie make
(which is by far the best and easierst prog. to use) When you have finished
your project you can put in on a DVD-R by using Nero 6 ultra edition (very
cheap on e-bay!). I will let you know how well all this works! The
alternative is use Imagemixer 1.7 which is the packaged software that comes
with JVC cameras and connects with supplied USB cable to the front panel on
the camera. But you have to get the $25 upgrade from Pixela which will allow
you to copy your product to DVD. Imagmaker though is not a patch on Movie
maker very complicated compared to Movie maker and the USB connection doesn
not have the quality of a firewire. Hope it works out.
