I have created two pages for my classroom newsletter on frontpage...they look
they are formatted to two pages one the screen, but they print out to many
more pages, all of the text does not fit on the page. I am not very familiar
with the program, can anyone give me any simple suggestions...I am an
elementary teacher and trying to print a classroom newsletter...

Computer screens and printers are different. Computer
screens can accomodate more pixels of output than can
printers.

I would suggest you make up an additional page for
printing output. The content of the page should be placed
in a fixed width table that is slightly less than the
printer's width in pixels. This will force the content
within the table to conform to the width you have
specified. Check your printer manual to determine this
number or if you don't have a manual experiment with
different widths until you come up with one that works.

I hope this helps you.

If you are going to do this on a regular basis, that is,
post your newsletter online and print it out neatly, I
suggest making your newsletter on a word processor and
saving it as Adobe Acrobat PDF. You'll be able to print it
out accurately, and it'll show online exactly as you want
it to.
