How do I password protect records?

I built a database. To update the records I am using page access so that it
can be used in different desktops.

What I'd like to do is password protect the records on a per owner basis. In
other words, only the owner of the record is allowed to make changes to it.
And of course, I want to have an Admin password to have access to all
records. In addition, can User Level Security be used?

How can I do this? Please remember the interface to the records is via the
page access.

Thanks!

Off hand I would guess you could use User Level Security to restrict
access to each user to the table with their data and then you would need to
combine the information if you needed it combined.

BTW, I am not sure what you mean by "page access." That might play into
this somehow.

I meant to type data access page. It is the web page that is created.
OK got you. Sorry I don't have your answer however. That is one of
many areas I have not worked on.
