How do I open outlook after upgrading?

I recently "upgraded" to Office XP Small Business. Now I cannot open my
Outlook or retrieve my messages. How do I open Outlook and reset it as my
default email client?
 
What happens when you try to open Outlook? What mail client were you using
before the upgrade?

Use Control Panel's Mail applet to point to your correct data store.
