I backed up my web page in Front Page 2000 while I reformatted the drive and
retinstalled software. Now I cannot open the saved web page to edit it. How
do I "unlock" it?

How did you save it?
How are you trying to open it?
Did you actually have a web you saved, or just a page? You should have
created a web, first.

If you saved it by burning it to a CD and then copied it back to your machine, you will have to
"browse" to it in Windows Explorer and remove the read only attributes from **every** file

In what way is it locked, anyway?

If you moved it from CD to your HD, make sure the file attributes for all the files are not set to Read Only.
