How do i open a 97' database in office 2003

We have just switched from office 97 to office 2003 and now my old database
won't open I get an error message that says the drive or network connection
that the shortcut ink. refers to is unavailable please make sure disk is
properly inserted or network resource is available and try again

It would appear that you're trying to use a shortcut to open the database.

Take a look at the properties of that shortcut: it sounds as though it's
pointing to a network location that is no longer valid.

In other words, this has nothing to do with Access 97 vs. Access 2003, but
more likely with how drives are being mapped, or changes to servers and/or
shares.
