Converting 97 Access Database to 2003

I am trying to convert my access 97 database to 2003. I have downloaded the
Access 2003 on my computer. I opened the old database and the following is
what I did:

1) Convert the database (yes)
2) Save the file (I have saved the database file in the same location as
old one) with a new name
3) Conversion complete

Problem: When I open the database, its says "The command or action "save
Record in not available"

Why is it saying this?

Do you have any AutoExec macros or code running when the DB starts up?
If not, you could try starting a new 03 MDB and then importing all the
objects from your old MDB to create a fresh new file. Access does have
some weird, er, 'quirks' (to use nice language) when dealing with DB
conversions.
