Converting Access 97 to Access 2003 and back

I have a program that only uses database files created in Access 97. It will
not recognize Access 2003 database files.

I do not have a copy of Access 97, I only have a copy of Access 2003 from
the Microsoft Office 2003 suite.

I need to make some changes in the Access 97 database. I can convert them to
Access 2003 format to make the changes, but then I am not able to convert
them back to Access 97 so that the program can read them.

Is there any conversion software available that will do the conversion? Or,
does anyone know where I can get a used copy of Access 97 real cheap? I only
need it to make the changes.

Thanks for any help I may receive.

Why can't you convert it back?

In Access 2003:
Tools | Database Utilities | Convert Database | To 97 format.

What happens when you use Tools... Database Utilities... Convert and
choose the option to save the database in A97 format? You haven't
added any Access 200x specific features that aren't supported in A97,
I hope?
