how do I move two separated cells to new spreadsheet

I am trying to make another spreadsheeet with info pulled out of original
sheet. I have acompished this before but can't remember how
 
1. Copy or 2. Go to 2nd sheet insert the "=" and point back to the
original sheet cell that you want to use.
