How do I move files and addresses from hotmail to Outlook

I want to switch from hotmail to Outlook for my email. But I want to move all
of my folders, old mail, addresses etc. from hotmail to Outlook. Can I make
Outlook 2003 my default email and move all of old mails and info to Outlook.
 
No you can't. You're confusing an email program with an email service.
Outlook is an email program that retrieves your email from your ISP's
servers. You can not access Hotmail with Outlook or OE any more unless you
pay a fee to MSN. Hotmail is web mail and you can't transfer your Hotmail
addresses or settings to Outlook.
