How do I move emails from backup CD to Outlook 2003?

I need to copy old emails and folders from backup CD to Outlook 2003. The
file extension is dbx.

Any help will be appreciated.

Those are not Outlook files. They belong to Outlook Express, a diff program.
The only way is to copy the files to your hard drive and remove the read only
properties, then use Import from within Outlook. Use 'Import from another
file or program' on the Import menu to access the dbx files.

Outlook Express has to be connected to the mail store before you can export
to OL
(OE and OL have to be on the same PC)

Thanks to all of you. The emails are from my old computer and was on Outlook
Express. However, I now have Outlook. I will import them to Outlook Express
and then to Outlook. Thanks again.
