How do I move backwards and forwards in columns

How do I move from column to column in word 2007

The same way that you would move through pages - select the place you want
to move to and insert the cursor. Consider columns as narrow pages. However
what I suspect you are looking for is a means of using separate columns and
for that you need a (borderless) table.
