How do I mane a backup, burn it to a CD & then restore.

I purchased a new computer which I have loaded Access 2002. I cannot figure
out how to get my backup copy to be restored on to the new computer. I am
always given an error message that my backup copy is a "Read Only" copy. How
do I make a good backup copy and then restore it to the new Access program on
my new computer? Please help. Thanks.

When you copy a file to a CD it is marked as read only because all CD
files are read only.

When you copy it back to a hard drive, it remains read only. So you
need to find the file do a right click on it, choose properties and then
un-check the one that says "read only".
