How do I manage the control source property in Outlook 2000 form .

I want to link/embed using a combo box but don't know how. I read that the
control needed to be selected>Insert>item, but my "item is grayed. Thanks to
any and all.
 
What do you mean by "link/embed"? What type of form? Not all pages on all
forms are customizable.
