When I try to send a link from Microsoft Explorer, I get an error message
that I need to make Outlook my default mail client. In Outlook, the checkbox
"Set outlook as default..." under Tools, Options, Other is already checked
and it still doesn't work.

There is no such thing as Microsoft Explorer. There is a Microsoft Internet Explorer which I am going to assume you mean. You can go to Internet Explorer | Tools | Programs | E-mail | drop-down choose Microsoft Outlook. | Apply | OK.

You're right George - I meant Internet Explorer. I also should have
mentioned that the drop down menu you suggest is already set to Outlook but I
still can not click on the mail button and send a link to the page or send
the page. Any other suggestions?? Thanks for your help.

OK where is this Mail button you mention? I haven't put Outlook back in yet so help me there. If you mean in IE then really you should only use Microsoft Outlook Express to do that. It doesn't and never has worked well with Microsoft Outlook.
