I have created my cv using 2007 word however have experienced problems with
recipients, who use pre-2007 word, not being able to view my document. What
do I do to make my document compatible for all viewers?

Save it as Word 97-2003, RTF or plain text.

Office Button > Save As > Word 97-2003 Format

If you want to still use some new 2007 features, then save it with a
different name, and continue to work with the first file.

When you open a 97-2003 format document in 2007, you can't use the new
2007 features, but it'll stay in the format with an ordinary save. To
change it to 2007 format, do Save As again.

You just need to save the documents compatible on Word 97-2003 format. You
can do this by -- File -->Save As -- In the save as dialog, from the file
format drop-down select Word 97-2003 compatible format and save the document
with .DOC extension.
