How do I leave my network domain?

I created a network domain on my computer, but I don't want it. I don't know how to get rid of it.

If I could add to this question (I could answer it, but, from below, obviously I'm a little unsure about what I'm doing):

I used the Network Id Wizard (My Computer, Properties, Computer Name tab) to remove my computer from a domain, resetting it as a 'home' computer.

My question pertains to the domain user that was set up to use the domain. Is there any way to remove this user from my computer now? The domain user does not show up in the list of users accessed from the Control Panel, User Accounts. However, the user's folder is still there in the local drive (Documents and Settings). Should I have removed the user before using the wizard? I could delete the user's folder, but this would not take care of registry issues.

That user account is on the domain controller. The folder is just a
profile. Its safe to delete. There are no registry issues.
