I had to re-install Office XP P and now, I don't see my Templates. I have
pasted the templates in Microsoft/office/Templates/1033. I could see alll
the standard Templates when I open Word except my templates. What did I do
wrong?

G'Day Apan,

1. Select a place where YOU would like to store your Templates, so
next time around you can find them easily.
I use ....\My Documents\My Templates.

2. Run Word
Tools>Options
File Locations (tab)
User Templates (item)
select & modify the location to point to your Templates.

Your suggestion worked. Is ther way I could see the templates in the
General Template Tab?

Thanks again.

Apan

You chose the wrong folder. Put them in the folder listed for your user
templates under Tools > Options > File Locations.

For more on the different kinds of templates, tabs on the file new dialog,
and locations of templates folders see
