How do I inport a pst file

My PC Crashed and I am unable to load a backed up copy for my .pst file. I
keep getting a message that the properties for this file are not defined.

1. Copy the file to your HDD. Do NOT overwrite the existing file.
2. Remove the Read-Only attribute. (Right-Click-Properties)
3. In Outlook go to File-Open-Outlook Data File and navigate to where
you put the pst. Do NOT use the "Import" function it'll screw up the
"modified" dates on emails apart from other things.

Copy it to your hard drive and use the File, Open command in Outlook to open
it.
