How do I increase the number of email rules I am allowed?

I currently have 12 email rules that run. When I try to add another rule or
expand a current rule I get an error message saying:
"One or more rules could not be uploaded rto Exchange server and have been
deactivated. This could be because some of the parameters are not supported
or there is insufficient space to store all of your rules."

How do I increase the space allocated for storing rules?

How large are those rules?

Exchange allots 32K characters for rules (per mailbox, I think, but I'm not
positive).

It is per mailbox and the 32K limit can't be increased. Other than shorter
rules the only way around that is either mailbox folder server side event
sinks or macro or COM addin code on the client side. In other words custom
code.
