how do i import from a csv file to a user defined contact field i.

I am trying to import a csv file into my contacts folder. The fileds in the
csv file do not match the fields I have in Contacts. I tried to create a
user defined field but when I try to import I can not see the field. I also
tried to export my contacts and could not get the field I created to be part
of the export. Any advice..........

Outlook doesn't support importing or exporting to custom fields. You'd have
to write custom code or use a third-party application. See
