How do I get sound?

First attempt at using Movie Maker. I can import the video from my camcorder
but not the sound. Reading the info on sounds says you can do this only with
an ANALOG camera. Mine is digital. Is this my problem?
Also I uploaded a clip into my hard drive but when I tried to import that
into Movie Maker it says the file was not "indexed" and therefore could not
be opened.

Sound comes in with video when you capture from a digital camcorder using a
firewire connection.

If you're using USB or trying to capture MPEG-2 files you'll have such
issues....
