how do i get rid of the message interface error?

I get an error message when I try to delete outgoing mail or sent mail. We
had a beagle virus and this started up at the same time. I have tried
uninstalling and reinstalling the programs without any change.
 
Are your virus problems resolved and the machine clean? If so, it could be
that your PST is corrupted. Run ScanPST.exe against it.
However, it would help alot if you posted your version of Outlook, your
environment (Exchange, POP3, etc.), and any troubleshooting you've done on
your own so we don't offer redundant advice.
