How do I get email on my Outlook 2000 setup

I have OL2000. I'm trying to set it up to use with my MSN email acct. I
keep getting an error msg 691 telling me I have an incorrect password or
domain name for that account...not true. I think this has to do with pop3
vs. html server access. Does anyone out there know how to get around that?
