I had signed up with AT&T as my "on the road" async ISV.
When I signed on, the AT&T installation, seemed to load a
AT&T version of IE. At least some messages and header
displays seem to point to this. Well, I am no longer an
AT&T customer and IE seems somewhat less stable than
before. I just want to put down a new copy of IE. I am
running Win XP Pro with all of the latest patches
applied. Any help r advisce would be appreciated.

You don't need a new copy.

How to remove branding.
To remove all Internet Explorer branding, follow these steps:
1. Click Start.
2. Click Run.
3. Type

rundll32.exe iedkcs32.dll,Clear

and then click OK.

4. Restart Internet Explorer.

Try going into Tools, Internet Options, Programs, then
click reset web settings. Then Advanced, Reset Defaults.
If that don't work, go to microsoft.com and redownload IE
6 SP1.
