How do i format

the last time i formated was was about 8 years ago and i
only did it 2 times

i dont know how to set my computer up to do it like when
you restart it has boot from cd and that crap i dont know
how to get it to boot from the cd and to delte all the
crap on my c drive

can anyone help me please

First of all, if you search this forum, there are about 175 posts about how
to format your drive.
anyway, depending on the age and OS of your PC, you would either boot to a
bootable floppy and type format c: or boot to your CD and follow the prompts.
To set your computer to boot to either floppy or CD go into your bios and set
the boot up sequence so that your pc boots to the cd or floppy depending on
what you are using. to get into the bios, depends on your pc... try the "del"
or the "f2" keys. If you need a bootable Floppy go to bootdisk.com
