How do I force Outlook to re-pickup POP mail?

Hi

I was daft enough to shift delete an outlook folder with all my emails from
one of my POP accounts.

I can restore emails from a week old .pst. And this week's emails are still
on the POP server. However Oulook has flagged that it has already picked
these emails so is not recollecting.

Any suggestions? Thanks

Steve

(or does anyone know how to recover a shift deleted folder?)

Thanks Vijay,

as the article suggested I corrupted the pst file and ran scanpst.exe to fix
the corruption. The repair fixed the corruption but unfortunatley did not
bring back the messages.

Luckily I have last weeks back up and this weeks mail is still on the pop
server. Do you know how to force Outlook to recollect pop mail from the
server.

Thanks

Steve

Easiest way would be to create a temporary mail profile, collect the mail
and then move the mails;

1) Create a separate profile to download the mails;
http://www.howto-outlook.com/faq/newprofile.htm

2) Close Outlook and start with your original mail profile

3) Connect to the pst-file created in Step 1 by;
File-> Open-> Outlook Data File...

4) Move the messages
