I am trying to find out what my settings are so I can install a program and I
cannot find it as easily as I thought I would be able to.

What settings? Do you mean the settings that should be used (which PA Bear
answered) or do you mean the settings that are already in some installed
software?

What software? If you are asking about any software other than Windows Mail
then you need to specify what software you need help, except this newsgroup
is for Windows Mail only.

Who provides your email service? Or to ask that question another way,
what is the part of your email address after the @ symbol?
Your mail provider will typically have a web page that shows how to
set up an email program. If you need more help, tell us the name of
your email service provider. If you currently don't have an email address,
we can help with that also.
