how do I find he cd key when I do not have the cd case

I bought laptop which had word already installed. I had problems and have
had to start again. The problem is that now when I go into word it asks me
for a cd key I only have the cd and no key, is there anyway of getting the
key with the case

had anything with the ky on it !

It had a key and unfortunately the official response is that you'd have to
contact your computer manufacturer - and they won't/can't help you. What you
would have had was a paper sticker with a hologram on the key printed on it.
It won't hurt to call them but don't count on any answers. (I'm sorry to
give you bad news but I'd rather be honest with you.)
