How do I find existing TWEAKS?

Purchased a new machine from a boutique mfg....geared for digital audio
efficiency; & was going over specific mfg.'s documentation (mobo, power
supply, etc.) & checking out everything else the mfg. sent me. To my
dismay...when I looked at the OS disk..it read XP Pro-Version *2002*-
Copyright 2004; & I started thinking, "did these guys load me an *old*
operating system?" if they did, I intend to make them make it right...but
in the mean time, can anyone please tell me:

1) Where can I co on my computer to get the information on exactly 'which'
version my OS is?

2) Can you also tell me where exactly I can go on my computer to find out
which 'tweaks' they made for audio efficiency? (Services, Performance, etc.)

[If they did load me an older OS...& I then get an up-to-date one...I want
to be able to initiate their tweaks to it (& they're sort of closed-lipped
about all that)].

Thanks,

"How to Determine the Version of Windows XP in Use"

Why don't you check with the device manager.

Windows XP = Windows 2002 as Office XP = Office 2002. Make sure that
WinXP SP2 (Service Pack 2) has been installed.
