How do i enable/disable file->properties summary tab

I want to enable/disable file->properties summary tab
I want to change some properties under sumamry tab availabe under
file->properites but the tab contents are disabled.

How do i enable the summary tab so can update the properites

The most likely reason for the Summary Properties to be disabled is that
some form of Protection is applied to the doc. In order to modify the
Properties the protection will have to be removed.
