How do I embed a movie clip into a Power Power Show?

I wish to send via e-mail a Power Point Show which contains a video clip. It
appears Power Point refers to the clip where it is stored on my pc thus the
video does not play by the recipient. Is there a way to include this file
inside the presentation? If it must be sent as a separate file how does one
maintain the relationship?

Thanks

You cannot embed video into PowerPoint. It must be linked. You can get
information about maintaining the relationship at, "Sounds/Movies don't
play, images disappear or links break when I move or email a
presentation" from the PPT FAQ:

Videos are always linked, never embedded. Delete the video from your
presentation, move the video file to the folder where your presentation resides,
and then re-insert the video. Then email both files and ask the recipient to
put them in a folder together and play from there.
