How do I email a chart?

When I email a chart, the tablulated data shows up instead. I realize there
must be a feature that freezes the chart, but I am unable to locate it. Can
you help? Please advise.
 
You can save the chart as a graphic, which would make it unable to
manipulate. Is it necessary that your recipients be able to change anything?
