I have Power Point 2000. I have an object a graphic (Auto Shape) that I
don't want appearing on a few of the slides. How do I go about making this
not appear on the few slides? Thanks in advance for any help.

View the first slide you want to change. Right click the slide and go to
"Background". At the bottom of the dialog is a check box for "Omit
Background Elements". You will need to reset the background to what you
want, but your graphic elements won't show anymore.
