How do I download

I want to download some tutorials and want to know how I should do this and
where do I put them,

In addition to other posters comments, recommend you go to a good
book store in the mall like Waldens and purchase "WindowsXP for
Dummies" (no pun intended). It runs around $20

To get past the download step, simply download them to your desktop. After
you run them you can decide where to store them (or simply delete them).
Usually the download dialog box will show a browser for places on your
computer to save a download. To use the Desktop, use the scroll bar on the
right of the dialog box to find "desktop". It will be at the top of the
list.
