How do I display the contact's phone number in the journal entry?

Can I edit the layout of the journal entry? When I make a "phone call"
journal entry, I'd like to see the business phone number of the contact
displayed.

Any folder view shows only the data in that folder, even though Outlook lets you think otherwise by allowing you to add fields from different types of items in the folder.
