How do I disable the "delete block? no(yes)" inquiry function in .

Whenever I block text and hit the delete key, nothing happens until I respond
to the inquiry that shows up at the bottom of my screen, which says "delete
block? no(yes)" I must either press the "y" or the "n" for further action.
How can I disable this so when I block text and hit the delete key, the text
will automatically be deleted?
