How do I delete list styles in word 07?

I have created a number of list styles which are now listed within Paragraph
in Word 2007. I no longer require all of these and would like to remove some
(for simplification). I have been unable to achieve this. Can anyone help?

"If you created a list style you can delete it the way you delete any other
style. Note, however, that you cannot delete the underlying list templates
from the document. The best you can do is copy the document contents, except
for the final paragraph mark (¶), into a new document."

To delete the style, right click on it in Styles dialog and then select
Delete

It might be easier to delete the list styles via the Edit tab of the Manage
Styles dialog box. To display the dialog, click the Manage Styles button in the
Styles pane (Ctrl+Alt+Shift+S).

If the styles have also been saved to a template, use the Organizer dialog box
to delete it. In the Manage Styles dialog, you can press Import/Export to show
that dialog.

Although the Style Report template is useful, it would be overkill in this case,
since Roy knows exactly which styles he wants to delete.
