Word 2000....I used to be able to highlight some text and press delete and
the text would delete, but now it asks me if I want to delete the block yes
or no. Driving me crazy!! I must have changed some sort of setting... Any
ideas?

From the Tools menu, select Options and then go to the General tab and
uncheck the boxes next to the two items that include WordPerfect in the
description.
