I can't delete documents from Word 2002; just text and pages. I need to
delete the entire documents. HOW?

Close the document, then select it in the File Open dialog and press Delete.

With the document closed, select it in any file operations window eg File >
Open and press the Delete key.

Suzanne Barnhill took a lot of time but she had me eliminate a problem I have
had for years...mainly, deleting documents from Word. It only took three
times but I have no longer the documents that have plagued me all this
time...Thanks to her diligent patience with me, I can now sleep at night.

Glad you finally got it working.
