How do I correct error messages in MS Access Switchboard?

Since installing my HP Deskjet 3845 printer, I have been having problems with
my MS Access 2000 databases. When I attempted to use the switchboards in any
database, I originally got the message: "Error in OLEAUT32.DLL".

Since then I have been, after using a swithcboard for a short while, I
frequently get the message "There was an error executing the command" and I
get the message noted above.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Bob

Hi Bob,

See if these Microsoft KB articles help. Both appear to have the same resolution.

OFF2000: Error Starting Visual Basic Editor with Outdated Oleaut32.dll:
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=224315

You receive error messages when you start Office 2000 programs:
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=217440

Good luck,

Thanks for the response, Jeff.

I tried the suggestion in the first link without any luck, but I will try
copying of the file as suggested in the second link and let you know how it
works out.

Let me know if either solution works. That was the first time I believe
I had heard of that error so I did some searching through the KB articles
to see what I could find. For my own benefit I would like to know if
either suggestion resolves the issue for you.

Humm...maybe, maybe not. Who knows?
At any rate I must compliment you on an excellent last name.
