How do I copy Excel into Word?

How do I copy an Excel sheet that has hidden colums into Word? Each time I
copy in Excel and paste in Word the hidden colums appear.
 
How are you doing this, David? In Word and Excel XP, I hid some columns in
Excel, selected a range and copied, then pasted into Word with no problems.
I pasted as Excel object, HTML format, and RTF and had no problems. Are you
trying to something different? If it's really impossible with what you
have, you may want to try using Copy Picture (Shift + Edit >> Copy Picture)
in Excel - but this pastes a graphic rather than an editable table in Word.
