Pasteing Word Doc into Excel with headers and footers

How can I paste a word document that has headers and footers into Excel? I
can use the Special Paste feature but it doesn't paste the headers and
footers because I can't copy the headers and footers from Word. So I guess I
need to know how to copy the headers and footers from Word with the rest of
the doc.

Use Snagit for www.techsmith.com to print the document which you can then
save in a graphic format (one page at a time) that you can then paste into
Excel.

I am not sure why you would want to do this however.

Thank you Doug, I have to create a status report that has different tables
with different formats and I cannot do that in Excel becaue all of the
columns remail one set width and I need to be able to have different widths
in each different table. I want the headers and footers because it looks
more professional. if you know of a better way please let me know.

What if you do it in Word and import your Excel tables?

I have many worksheets in the Excel workbook so it's better to put the one
Word doc into the Excel Workbook.. Thank you for your response.

You can "accommodate" varying column widths in Excel by having columns that
consist of merged cells.

Apart from that, the only other way would be to use Snagit as suggested.
