How do I change the effect of the text shadow in Powerpoint 2007

The little S icon show in the font area of the Home tab. HOwever, I have no
idea how I change the degree of shadowing. I would like the shadow to be
soft and teh default is very hard.
 
In PowerPoint 2007, select the text, click on the "Format" tab under
"Drawing Tools", click the "Text Effects" menu, in "Shadow" menu, select the
last item "Shadow Options...". You can setup the shadow in this dialog box.
