Text Shadow 2003 "Convert" 2007 problem

I have a deck I created in 2003 PowerPoint. I've converted it to a 2007 using
the "Convert" option in PPT2k7.

In the original presentation I had used the Master Slide to set global
effects like text shadows, etc.

While working in PPT2k7 with the Converted deck animated text has a problem.
The drop shadows, or what seems to be the drop shadows, are visible before
the text "flys" in or whatever other animation I build.

It doesn't appear to be the same drop shadow as 2K7 is creating however. The
transparency is wrong and the edges are much too sharp.

Needless to say having a black shadow of text visible on the slide before
the animation is supposed to reveal that text just isnt working well!!

I figured it out. Has to do with shadows from 2003 Converting into Shape
shadows in 2007 which don't animate properly. Turned off all Shadows (Shape,
Text, and Text Effect shadows to be sure) and then applied a new Text Shadow
